F-R-E-E Ministry is a “Christ-Centered Ministry” with a mission to provide men in bondage from addiction and other life-controlling issues with freedom through the truth that is the Word. From the Word we find the 12-Steps of recovery and discipleship through the teachings of Jesus Christ.
F-R-E-E Ministry has a vision to build a community of resilient people whose lives have been changed by a supernatural understanding of God’s love. The transformed lives are more than examples of worldly success; they are living testimonies, a witness of His power that restores broken lives. The men, women, and families who are helped will go on to share His love with others, to pass on the hope they have been given, and to make transformation possible for others.
Within F-R-E-E Ministry, we believe in forming a meaningful relationship with the Lord: mind, body, and spirit; this is exemplified by loving our neighbor.
The residential men’s program has a nominal entrance fee which can be deferred, if an individual’s circumstance warrants the deferral, but no one is turned away. The program is available to adult participant and takes a holistic body/mind/soul approach by focusing on the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the participants.
This is accomplished through a structured environment: Bible study, prayer, 12-step curriculum work, and participation are encouraged daily.
Participants are offered certification in job skills, a trade, and are encouraged to work to develop healthy habits. Other needs such as GED prep, physical fitness, and special needs are addressed on a case-by-case basis. Service work (both on the farm and in the community) is encouraged. F-R-E-E Ministry seeks to fellowship with community leaders, churches, and businesses on a regular basis to create and maintain a community awareness as to current needs and to fill such gaps and shortfalls with “hands and feet” on the ground serving the community with humility and gratitude. Such needs may be beautification and rehabilitation of infrastructure or the elimination of waste. The ministry seeks to become a referral and information hub to disseminate vital assistance information to impoverished people who are in need of help.
Experience and patience combined with tough love.
Giving families peace
A man with great faith and who seeks to surrender to and serve the Lord’s will daily. He is a shepherd seeking to feed the sheep and make disciples in accordance with the Great Commission. Pastor Jimbo provides refuge for the lost and allows the Lord to work in the heart and lives of those that are placed in his path. He has been entrusted with the care of such individuals until they choose to leave, are “called” to continue their journey, or learn to step out in faith and walk in the Spirit. He won't give up on you and He believes you shouldn't either.
Mrs. Lynn Boudreau is a chaplain and the wife of Pastor Jimbo. She selflessly serves F-R-E-E Ministry with all of her being. Her spirit and testimony reflect the love of Christ and she is a witness to the Lord's power to restore women from many forms of bondage, together with forgiveness, healing, calling, and purpose. She is an example of a person who walks with Jesus and serves His children. In addition to serving the men at F-R-E-E Ministry, Mrs. Lynn Boudreau spends her time in prayer, bible study, and ministry to meet the needs "of the least of these" and is available to help guide women and families out of affliction and into freedom.
Serving others recover is a way of life and what we are called to do.
A safe and warm bed to sleep in is not always available.
